Building Team Confidence: The Power of Effective Systems

Building a small business team is one thing; building a confident team that can run your company whether you’re there or not is another. There is, of course, more that goes into building your culture, but the number one thing that will provide confidence throughout your team is strong, effective systems. Think about starting a …

Your End of Year Business Planning Checklist

If you have talked or worked with me, you know that I love checklists. I make them for myself and my clients, and I ask my team for them constantly. They’re a really good way to make sure that nothing falls through the cracks. One thing that small business owners might not think of needing a checklist for is business planning – but I assure you, it’s helpful, especially at the end of the year.

While every business will have different needs, the same areas of planning will apply to all of them, even yours!

What Can an Executive Assistant Do for You?

We all know an Executive Assistant can do things like handle your email and calendar, but are you aware of all the other ways they can make your life easier – and your business more profitable?

As a business coach, one of the most common questions I get asked is, “I know I need an Executive Assistant, but how do I work with them? What do I delegate? How do I train them?” (Ok, that’s three questions, but they’re usually asked all at once!)

Peering Inside the Life of an Entrepreneur

On average, 4.4 million businesses are started each year in the US alone; in 2022, that number jumped to just over 5 million. For some people, the idea of entrepreneurship starts as a young child. The dream develops and the goals get set of how to build a product or service to help millions of people.

For others the bug develops later in life, often with the realization that there is a missing element that can help people and they have the solution to do so.

Either way, entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart. There is even a month just to celebrate entrepreneurship and the many hurdles that one faces in developing a business to better society.
