Coaching is a huge topic in many different industries today, and for good reason: a great coaching team can help you get the results you’re looking for. Gone are the days when business owners could rely on the tactics that had worked for years or decades; today, things are moving quickly, and focused coaching is becoming more vital than ever.

The right coaching team can provide you with everything from a customized action plan to the accountability you need, but a great coach goes deeper than that.

Accountability and Overcoming Procrastination

I work with a lot of driven business owners – people who want to get things done and crush their goals. The problem is, they have a lot going on. Inevitably, the things they need to focus on get pushed to the side by the things they think they have to focus on.

One of my clients said it well in a Facebook group comment a few months ago: “We know what to do, we just have to decide to do it.”

It sounds simple, but it’s often easier said than done. After all, there are only so many hours in the day, and there’s only one of you. Eventually, something has to give, and too often it’s the tasks that will grow your business.

A strong coaching team can help you set an action plan, provide you with consistent accountability, and when needed, give you the loving kick in the butt you need to get it done. (I’m famous for sending a size 13 branded hiking boot to my clients when they need such a kick: they’re required to keep it on their desk for a month as a tangible reminder of their goals.)

While the UYB Boot is a fun reminder (I actually have clients who complain if they don’t get one!), our coaching team goes deeper than that. In addition to our team of specialized coaches, we also have an Accountability Coach who works with every client, staying in contact with them throughout their journey with us. This has resulted in some incredible breakthroughs, with several clients seeing their best months ever!
